About Chavala Ventures

Chavala Ventures (previously Babuji Estates) started as a vision, an opportunity to convert Hyderabad into the landmark real estate hub that it is today. Our Founder, Late C. E. Gupta, upon moving to this great city post-retirement, saw into the future – a future in which Hyderabad bustled with happy occupants living in their dream homes.
Late C. E. Gupta showed sparks of genius right from his youth. He was a gold medalist in Textile Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, and went on to spearhead a textile manufacturing revolution in South India as the Manager at The Volkart Brothers. He retired with great dignity and respect as the General Manager of Voltas Limited.
It was the year 1984 (the pre-Hi-Tech City times) and our Founder just couldn’t stop thinking about Hyderabad and the enormous real estate potential it held. He decided to venture into this space and built our first apartments in Banjara Hills – a 4-floor marvel housing 50 residents that instantly upgraded the living experience in the city. He also executed multiple layout developments in Madhapur and Guttala Begumpet, which are presently the most premium areas of Cyberabad. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that his retirement years were the most fruitful and satisfying for him as he turned barren lands into dreams-come-true and removed the stress of house hunting in Hyderabad.
To this day, we continue to draw inspiration from our Founder’s future-first thinking and eagerness to simplify living. By walking on the path laid out by him, Chavala Ventures has seen incredible success and we strive to stay on his visionary path with his blessings as the guiding light.
